asxJ2LOSCleared
Module: Fore-Switch-MIB
OID (symbolic): Fore-Switch-MIB::asxJ2LOSCleared
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.117
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
This trap indicates that LOS Alarm is cleared on the incoming signal.
What is asxJ2LOSCleared?
This is a notification that fires when the Loss of Signal alarm condition ends on an incoming optical link. It means the light signal is healthy again after a darkout. A datacenter monitor would alert the on-call engineer that the redundant fiber path has recovered and service is restored.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Fore-Switch-MIB::asxJ2LOSCleared snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.117
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
