Module: Fore-Switch-MIB

OID (symbolic): Fore-Switch-MIB::asxE1LOSCleared

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.101

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description:

This trap indicates that incoming LOS alarm has been cleared on the specified E1 port.

What is asxE1LOSCleared?

This notification trap is generated when a Loss-of-Signal (LOS) alarm on an E1 port transitions from active to cleared. An operator receives this trap to be notified that signal quality has been restored on an E1 circuit; absence of this trap after an LOS event would indicate the problem persists.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Fore-Switch-MIB::asxE1LOSCleared
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.101

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
