Description:
This trap indicates that FERF Alarm or DS3 Yellow Alarm is detected on the incoming signal.
What is asxDS3FERFDetected?
This notification alerts that a FERF (Far End Receive Failure) alarm or DS3 Yellow Alarm has been detected on an incoming DS3 signal on a switch port. These conditions indicate a signal quality or synchronization problem on the remote end of the circuit. A network operator would receive this alert to investigate circuit quality issues and coordinate with the remote side to restore normal signal conditions.
