Description: This object specifies the type of the LMI protocol used over this FR service. This object corresponds to frLportVCSigProtocol in RFC1604 and frDlcmiState in RFC1315.

What is profileLmiFlavour?

This selects which LMI signaling dialect the Frame Relay UNI/NNI port speaks: none, the FORE-proprietary lmi, ITU-T Q.933 Annex A (t1617d/t1617b naming here), or ANSI T1.617 Annex D style q933a. An admin must match this to whatever the LMI dialect the far-end switch/router expects, e.g. selecting q933a (the default) to interoperate with a Q.933-based carrier switch.
