Description: If the Fecn mode is set to mapped, the FECN field in the Q922 core frame is mapped to the ATM EFCI field of every cell generated by the segmentation process of the AAL5 PDU containing the information of that frame. This mode provides congestion indication to the end-points where higher layer protocol entities might be involved in traffic control mechanisms. Otherwise, the EFCI field of cells generated by the segmentation process of the AAL5 PDU containing the information of the frame is always set to congestion-not-experienced.

What is profileFrf8FecnMode?

This selects whether Frame Relay FECN congestion marks are mapped onto the ATM EFCI field of generated cells (mapped, the default) so downstream congestion-control logic sees the signal, or always cleared to congestion-not-experienced (ignored).
