Description: This object represents the time period (msec) during which BECNs are monitored before the rate adaptation mechanism decides to change the current committed burst size in the egress direction.
What is profileFrRateCmPeriod?
This sets the congestion-monitoring period, in milliseconds (default 1000), over which the device counts BECN (Backward Explicit Congestion Notification) marks before its rate-adaptation mechanism decides to shrink the egress committed burst size. A shorter period makes the link react to congestion more quickly at the cost of more frequent rate changes.
