Description: The Maximum Frame Size of this LES, one of: unspecified(1), max1516(2), max4544(3), max9234(4), max18190(5), max1580(6). When unspecified, the LES may attempt to discover the Maximum Frame Size from the LECS, or simply choose a value commensurate with the LAN type.

What is lesConfMaxFrameSize?

Sets the maximum LANE data frame size this LES advertises to clients, from max1516(2) for standard Ethernet frames up to max18190(5) for large token-ring frames, or unspecified(1) to let the LES pick a default based on LAN type. An admin raises this when clients need to exchange larger frames than the default allows.
