This is the standard SNMP RowStatus column controlling creation, activation, or deletion of an entry in the ILMI service registry table; the source MIB provides no further description beyond the standard RowStatus semantics themselves. An admin or management application sets this to createAndGo to register a new ATM service entry, or to destroy to remove one, following the conventional SNMP row-management pattern. Setting this object to active(1) after populating an entry's address and parameters would make that ATM service registration take effect in the ILMI registry.
