What is ifCreateIfTrapSupport?

ifCreateIfTrapSupport specifies whether interface traps (such as linkUp/linkDown) should be generated for the interface being created, defaulting to enabled. Admins toggle this to control notification noise, for example disabling traps on interfaces expected to flap normally or that aren't monitored. For example, setting ifCreateIfTrapSupport to disabled(2) on a maintenance interface prevents it from generating link-state traps during provisioning.
