funiIfExtSigStatus

Module: Fore-Funi-MIB

OID (symbolic): Fore-Funi-MIB::funiIfExtSigStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.1.16.6.2.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This object indicates whether there exists a FUNI signalling instance
associated with the FUNI service. The possible value for this object
is summarized as follows:

  FUNI Signalling Support Possible Value of this object
===============================================================
      disabled                      nonexist(2)
_______________________________________________________________
      enabled                       exist(1)
                                    nonexist(2)

What is funiIfExtSigStatus?

This object indicates whether a FUNI signalling instance is currently active for this interface's FUNI service. It tells an admin whether the service is using signalled, SVC-capable, connections versus being limited to statically provisioned PVCs, since nonexist(2) is the only possible value when signalling support is disabled. For example, seeing funiIfExtSigStatus as exist(1) confirms the FUNI service on this interface has an active signalling instance and can support switched virtual circuits.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.1.16.6.2.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Fore-Funi-MIB::funiIfExtSigStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.1.16.6.2.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Fore-Funi-MIB::funiIfExtSigStatus.1
