Description: This value is the ascii representation of the selected event sets separated by colons. (e.g. 5:8:12:25:110) An empty (i.e. an octet string with length 0) value means: no event set filtering. This value is mandatory for event filter (row) creation. It also can be set after the event filter has been created.

A colon-separated ASCII list of NLS event-set numbers this management station wants delivered (e.g. '5:8:12:25:110'); an admin sets this, together with severity levels, to scope which events a given station actually receives, with an empty value meaning no event-set filtering.
