snMacVlanPortMemberRowStatus

Module: FOUNDRY-SN-MAC-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): FOUNDRY-SN-MAC-VLAN-MIB::snMacVlanPortMemberRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.3.30.2.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to create and delete row in the table and control if they are used. The values that can be written are: delete(3)...deletes the row create(4)...creates a new row

If the row exists, then a SET with value of create(4) returns error 'wrongValue'. Deleted rows go away immediately. The following values can be returned on reads: noSuch(0)...no such row other(1)....some other case valid(2)....the row exists and is valid

What is snMacVlanPortMemberRowStatus?

This INTEGER manages rows of the MAC-based VLAN port membership table, using create(4) to add a port as a member of a given VLAN and delete(3) to remove it, with valid(2) and other(1) as read-back states. Admins write create(4) to bind a port to a MAC-based VLAN, noting that attempting create(4) on an existing row returns a wrongValue error. For example, an admin sets this object to create(4) for a specific VLAN ID and port index pair to add that port as a member of the MAC-based VLAN.
