snMacBasedVlanRowStatus

Module: FOUNDRY-SN-MAC-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): FOUNDRY-SN-MAC-VLAN-MIB::snMacBasedVlanRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.3.30.2.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to create and delete row in the table and control if they are used. The values that can be written are: delete(3)...deletes the row create(4)...creates a new row

If the row exists, then a SET with value of create(4) returns error 'wrongValue'. Deleted rows go away immediately. The following values can be returned on reads: noSuchName...no such row other(1).....some other cases valid(2)....the row exists and is valid

What is snMacBasedVlanRowStatus?

This INTEGER manages rows of the MAC-based VLAN table, indexed by interface, VLAN ID, and MAC address, using create(4) to add and delete(3) to remove an entry, mirroring the row-management pattern used elsewhere in this MIB. Admins write create(4) to authorize a specific host MAC address into a MAC-based VLAN on a given interface. For example, an admin creates a row binding a known host's MAC address to VLAN 10 on a given interface, authorizing that host into that VLAN.
