Description: This mode controls whether a higher priority Backup router preempts a lower priority Master. The mode with enabled(1) allow preemption and disabled(0) prohibit preemption.
What is snVrrpVirRtrPreemptMode?
In this deprecated virtual router table, controls whether a higher-priority backup router is allowed to preempt and take over from a lower-priority master, defaulting to enabled. An admin disables preemption to avoid unwanted flapping back to a router that keeps rebooting or flapping in and out of service.
