This value reports the percentage of allocated layer 2 CAM capacity currently in use on a given linecard's network processor. Administrators track this metric to anticipate MAC table exhaustion before it causes unnecessary flooding or learning failures. A steadily climbing snCamUsageL2UsedPercent toward 100 signals it may be time to review VLAN design or upgrade hardware.
