Description: Ports with this object set to true(1) do not participate in any STP computation; they are always in Forwarding state, do not send BPDU and all received on these Ports BPDU must be discarded. Such Ports are used to define the STP termination point of the LAN.
What is mstpPortAdminNonStp?
This OID, when set true, excludes the port from spanning-tree computation entirely: the port stays permanently in the forwarding state, never sends BPDUs, and discards any it receives. Admins use this to mark a deliberate STP termination point, such as a port facing a device that shouldn't be treated as part of the bridged topology.
