Description:

Maximum number of entries to store in SNMP trap history table.

What is trapHistSize?

This object specifies the maximum number of entries that the SNMP trap history table will retain before older traps are discarded, with a default value of 200. As SNMP traps (alerts) are generated and logged, this limit prevents unbounded memory growth on the device. Network administrators adjust this setting to balance historical trap retention needs against available memory on the network device.
