OID (symbolic): FLARION-MIB::routeProtocol

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.8603.1.2.1.1.14.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RouteProtocol

Access: read-write

Description:

The route protocol.

What is routeProtocol?

This read-write object specifies which routing protocol (such as RIPv2 or static routing) the Flarion base station should use to exchange routing information with other network elements. The protocol choice affects how quickly the system detects network topology changes and how efficiently it distributes routing table updates. An operator would configure this based on the network architecture, choosing simple protocols like RIPv2 for small networks or more sophisticated protocols for larger deployments.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.8603.1.2.1.1.14.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> FLARION-MIB::routeProtocol

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.8603.1.2.1.1.14.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> FLARION-MIB::routeProtocol.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.8603.1.2.1.1.14.3.1 s <value>
