Description:
Indicates if CHAP Authentication is enabled.
What is bundleLinkChap?
This OID enables or disables CHAP (a security protocol) for authenticating partner routers on a bundle link (multiple connections bonded together). Setting this to enabled forces routers to verify each other's identity before connecting. A network administrator would enable this on remote office connections to prevent unauthorized routers from impersonating legitimate partners and accessing the network.
