Description: Count of Class 3 Frames that were discarded upon reception at this port. There is no FBSY or FRJT generated for Class 3 Frames. They are simply discarded if they cannot be delivered. Note, this is a Fibre Channel only stat.
What is fcConnUnitPortStatC3Discards?
Count of Class 3 frames silently discarded at this port because they couldn't be delivered; unlike Class 1/2, Class 3 has no busy/reject signaling, so undeliverable frames are simply dropped -- a rising count here is a real sign of congestion or an unreachable destination.
