agentCosQueueSchedulerType

Module: FASTPATH-QOS-COS-MIB

OID (symbolic): FASTPATH-QOS-COS-MIB::agentCosQueueSchedulerType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.3.3.2.4.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The type of scheduling used for this queue. If strict(1), then all traffic placed on this queue is transmitted before any queue with a lower precedence (lower agentCosQueueIndex). A weighted(2) scheme gives this queue service relative to other weighted queues based on their relative agentCosQueueMinBandwidth object values. The default is weighted(2).

What is agentCosQueueSchedulerType?

Sets how a queue is serviced relative to others on the interface: strict(1) transmits all traffic on this queue before any lower-precedence queue gets serviced, while weighted(2), the default, shares bandwidth proportionally based on each queue's agentCosQueueMinBandwidth. Use strict scheduling sparingly and only on the highest-priority queue (e.g. voice), since it can starve lower queues if overused.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.3.3.2.4.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> FASTPATH-QOS-COS-MIB::agentCosQueueSchedulerType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.3.3.2.4.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> FASTPATH-QOS-COS-MIB::agentCosQueueSchedulerType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.3.3.2.4.1.2.1 i <value>
