Description: Tail drop queue threshold above which all packets are dropped for the current drop precedence level. The value specifies the threshold based on a percentage of the overall device queue size. Since device implementations vary, the actual value deployed may be rounded up or down accordingly.
The default value, for all queues, is 100% for drop precedence 1 and non-TCP traffic, 90% and 80% for drop precedences 2 and 3.
This object is only used when agentCosQueueMgmtType is set to taildrop(1).
What is agentCosQueueMgmtPercentTailDropThreshold?
Sets the tail-drop threshold as a percentage of the device's overall queue size, above which all packets at this drop-precedence level are dropped; only used when agentCosQueueMgmtType is taildrop(1). Defaults are 100% for drop precedence 1 (and non-TCP traffic), 90% for precedence 2, and 80% for precedence 3, so lower-precedence traffic gets dropped earlier under congestion by design.
