agentPortSecurityStaticLimit

Module: FASTPATH-PORTSECURITY-PRIVATE-MIB

OID (symbolic): FASTPATH-PORTSECURITY-PRIVATE-MIB::agentPortSecurityStaticLimit

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.20.1.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This variable signifies the limit of statically locked MAC addresses allowed on a specific port.

What is agentPortSecurityStaticLimit?

This value caps how many statically configured MAC addresses can be locked to a specific port under port security. Admins use it to bound how many manually-entered addresses (via agentPortSecurityMACAddressAdd) are permitted on a port, such as a shared uplink with a known small set of devices. Setting it to 5 on a port limits administrators to entering at most five static MAC addresses for that port.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.20.1.2.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> FASTPATH-PORTSECURITY-PRIVATE-MIB::agentPortSecurityStaticLimit

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.20.1.2.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> FASTPATH-PORTSECURITY-PRIVATE-MIB::agentPortSecurityStaticLimit.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.20.1.2.1.3.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> agentPortSecurityStaticLimit.1
