What is agentSwitchDenialOfServiceTCPSynMode?
This setting enables or disables the switch's protection against TCP SYN-based Denial of Service traffic. An admin enables it so the switch drops malformed or malicious SYN packets, for example ones that also carry data, which are commonly used in SYN-flood style attacks. For example, enabling this on a switch facing untrusted networks helps prevent SYN packets with unexpected payloads from reaching internal servers.
