Description: This event describes change of the temperature. To avoid flipping on boundary conditions, it is allowed to send the trap taking into account some margin around thresholds.

abovethreshold - temperature increased and crossed upper threshold value belowthreshold - temperature decreased and crossed lower threshold value withinnormalrange - temperature returned to normal range (between threshold)

What is boxsTemperatureChangeEvent?

Reports which temperature threshold transition occurred (abovethreshold, belowthreshold, or withinnormalrange); this value is carried as a varbind in the boxsTemperatureChange trap, telling the trap receiver whether the reading rose above, fell below, or returned within the configured normal range.
