OID (symbolic): FAST-ETHERNET-MIB::ctMMACFENBOperCapabilities

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.9.2.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This value indicates the current capabilities of this port.

(1) Other (2) MMAC A Channel (4) MMAC FENB 1 (FENB= Fast Ethernet Network Bus) (8) MMAC FENB 2 (16) MMAC FENB 3 (32) Front Panel

The value of this object is the logical OR of all supported capabilities.

What is ctMMACFENBOperCapabilities?

This read-only bitmask (logical OR of codes such as MMAC A Channel=2, MMAC FENB 1=4, MMAC FENB 2=8, MMAC FENB 3=16, Front Panel=32) reports which backplane/front-panel connection paths this port is currently actually capable of using on MMAC chassis hardware. Admins read it to know which physical connection options — internal bus channels versus the front-panel connector — a given port can be wired to use. For example, ctMMACFENBOperCapabilities returning 36 (4+32) tells the admin the port can operate over MMAC FENB 1 or the front panel connector.
