Description: The total number of frames received that were longer than 1023 (1025 Bytes in case of VLAN Tag) octets (excluding framing bits, but including FCS octets) and were otherwise well formed. This counter is not incremented for too long frames.
What is bpIfStatsInOver1023BytePkts?
This read-only counter tracks well-formed frames received on this backplane port longer than 1023 octets (1025 with a VLAN tag), including FCS; it doesn't count truly oversized/malformed frames. It shows how much large-frame (e.g. jumbo) traffic is crossing this internal fabric link.
