What is extremeExceededByteCount?
This value reports the number of bytes that exceeded the configured rate limit for the associated QoS profile, carried as part of the rate-limit-exceeded trap. An admin uses it to gauge the severity of a CIR violation, such as whether it was a minor burst or a sustained overage. For example, a trap reporting an extremeExceededByteCount of 500000 indicates a much larger overage than one reporting only a few hundred bytes.
