Module: EXTREME-FDB-MIB

OID (symbolic): EXTREME-FDB-MIB::extremeFdbPermFdbFlags

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.16.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Bits

Access: read-create

Description: This object contains the flags associated with the FDB entry. The flags are similar to those displayed on the device Command Line Interface. At present, only the isSecure bit i.e. bit 0 will be supported and it will always be ON since only secure-mac entries are configurable and displayed in this table.

What is extremeFdbPermFdbFlags?

A bit flag field mirroring the CLI's FDB entry flags; currently only bit 0 (isSecure) is defined, and it is always set since this table only holds secure-MAC entries. An admin reading this table will always see isSecure on, confirming every row represents a locked, security-controlled MAC entry rather than a plain static one.
