Description: The number of packets allowed on the port before an entry is created in the forwarding table.

What is extremeEnhDosPortLearnLimit?

This read-create value sets how many packets are allowed on a port, within a 100-1953125 range, before an entry is created in the forwarding table, defaulting to 100. Raising or lowering it controls how quickly the switch starts tracking a new source on that port, balancing responsiveness against susceptibility to flooding. An admin hardening an uplink port against MAC-flood attacks might lower this from the 100 default to make the switch more conservative about learning new entries.
