svcRspSecurityFlags

Module: EMPIRE-SVCRSP

OID (symbolic): EMPIRE-SVCRSP::svcRspSecurityFlags

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.546.16.6.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This is a bitmask for displaying various security settings:

Bit 0: Security settings hidden. If this bit is set, all others will be set to 0 Bit 1: Allow Custom/Virtual User tests Bit 2: Allow File I/O tests Bit 3: Allow Untrusted SSL certificates in all SSL-based tests Bit 4-32 are currently unused

What is svcRspSecurityFlags?

This read-only INTEGER is a bitmask reporting security-related settings for the module, per the DESCRIPTION: bit 0 hides all other settings when set, bit 1 allows Custom/Virtual User tests, bit 2 allows File I/O tests, and bit 3 allows untrusted SSL certificates in SSL-based tests. An admin reads this to confirm which potentially risky test capabilities (custom scripts, file I/O, untrusted TLS) are currently permitted on this agent. Seeing bit 3 set in svcRspSecurityFlags would tell an admin this agent is configured to accept untrusted SSL certificates in its HTTPS-based tests, a setting worth reviewing for security posture.
