Description: This field defines an RSPAN user priority
What is eltPortCopyRemotePrio?
This sets the 802.1p priority value applied to mirrored RSPAN traffic as it traverses the network. An admin raises this priority so mirrored monitoring traffic doesn't get dropped or delayed under congestion, ensuring the remote analyzer reliably receives copied packets. Setting this to 5 would tag RSPAN traffic with priority 5, giving it precedence over routine best-effort traffic on a congested link.
