Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The timeout period in seconds for aging out dynamically learned mac address at this VLAN.
What is eltdot1dTpVlanAgingTime?
This integer sets, in seconds, how long a dynamically learned MAC address is kept in the forwarding table for this specific VLAN before it ages out. Admins tune it per-VLAN to control how quickly stale MAC entries are flushed, shortening it on VLANs with frequent device churn or lengthening it on stable ones to reduce flooding. For example, setting it to 600 on a VLAN doubles the default 300-second aging timeout so entries persist twice as long.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.35265.1.23.1.401.0.4.1.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ELTEX-MES-BRIDGE-EXT-MIB::eltdot1dTpVlanAgingTime
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.35265.1.23.1.401.0.4.1.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ELTEX-MES-BRIDGE-EXT-MIB::eltdot1dTpVlanAgingTime.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.35265.1.23.1.401.0.4.1.1.2.1 i <value>
