What is rlStackTopology?
This object reports how the switches in a stack are physically or logically interconnected, as one of topology-chain(1), topology-ring(2), or topology-star(3). An administrator reads it to confirm the stack cabling matches the intended design, since a ring topology tolerates a single cable failure while a chain does not. Seeing topology-ring(2) on a five-member stack would confirm the last unit's cable loops back to the first, giving the stack redundant connectivity.
