What is dvmrpRouteIfIndex?

This object identifies the interface (by index number) on which IP datagrams from specific multicast sources are received in a DVMRP routing context. A value of zero indicates an aggregate route with no specific next-hop interface. DVMRP administrators consult this when analyzing multicast source paths and verifying that traffic arrives on expected network interfaces.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DVMRP-STD-MIB::dvmrpRouteIfIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.3.62.1.1.4.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DVMRP-STD-MIB::dvmrpRouteIfIndex.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> dvmrpRouteIfIndex.1
