junidDvmrpReachableRoutes
Module: DVMRP-STD-MIB-JUNI
OID (symbolic): DVMRP-STD-MIB-JUNI::junidDvmrpReachableRoutes
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.3.2.1.1.1.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Gauge32
Access: read-only
Description: The number of entries in the routing table with non infinite metrics. This can be used to detect network partitions by observing the ratio of reachable routes to total routes.
What is junidDvmrpReachableRoutes?
Count of DVMRP routes with a finite (non-infinite) metric, i.e. routes currently considered reachable; comparing this to junidDvmrpNumRoutes helps spot a network partition when the reachable count drops relative to the total.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.3.2.1.1.1.1.1.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DVMRP-STD-MIB-JUNI::junidDvmrpReachableRoutes
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.3.2.1.1.1.1.1.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DVMRP-STD-MIB-JUNI::junidDvmrpReachableRoutes.1
