What is dsaWholeTreeSearchOps?

Counts whole-subtree search operations (searching an entry and all its descendants) serviced since startup, per X.511 Section 10.2.2.2. These are the most CPU-intensive searches, so a growing count alongside slow responses points to expensive subtree queries.
