Module: DSA-MIB

OID (symbolic): DSA-MIB::dsaCacheEntries

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.29.2.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description: Number of entries cached (non-systematic copies) in the DSA. This will include the entries that are cached partially. The negative cache is not counted.

What is dsaCacheEntries?

Reports the number of entries this DSA holds as non-systematic cached copies, including partially cached entries; negative cache entries are excluded. A growing cache size generally means the DSA is answering more repeat lookups locally instead of chaining or referring them.
