Discontinuities of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of the ifCounterDiscontinuityTime.
What is dot3OamVariableResponseTx?
This read-only counter counts Variable Response OAMPDUs sent by this interface in reply to the peer's variable requests. An admin compares this against dot3OamVariableRequestRx to confirm every incoming request is being answered.
