Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Description: Create a new user. When set with a non-empty string, a new user with that name will be created. This object will only return an empty string. This string is limited to alpha-numeric strings (including the '-' and '_' characters).

What is agentDot1xAuthServUserConfigCreate?

Writing a non-empty user name string to this object creates a new local 802.1x authentication user account on the device; reading it back always returns an empty string since it's a write-triggered action rather than a stored value. An administrator uses this as the entry point for provisioning local dot1x users directly via SNMP instead of the CLI. Setting this object to "jsmith" would create a new dot1x user account named jsmith, restricted to alphanumeric characters plus hyphen and underscore.
