Description: Indicates the Maximum Scheduled Codes value in use by the CM. The value is provided by the CMTS through a TLV in the RNG-RSP message. Note that not all values from 4..128 are valid. A value of zero indicates there is no Maximum Scheduled Codes, or that the CM does not support the Maximum Scheduled Codes feature.

What is docsIfExt2CmtsCmMscStatusMaximumScheduledCodes?

This value reports the Maximum Scheduled Codes value the CMTS assigned to a specific cable modem via a TLV in the Ranging Response, valid from 4 to 128 or 0 if the modem doesn't support MSC. An admin checks it per subscriber modem to confirm the CMTS-assigned MSC ceiling actually took effect on that CM. A value of 0 here indicates that particular modem has no MSC value or doesn't support the feature.
