Description: Indicates the maximum ratio of number of active codes to Maximum Scheduled Codes that the CM can support, as reported in the Ranging Request.
What is docsIfExt2CmMscStatusCodeRatio?
This value reports the maximum ratio of active codes to Maximum Scheduled Codes that a cable modem can support, as one of the fixed values 2, 8, 16, or 32, per its Ranging Request. An admin uses it to understand the modem's S-CDMA code-scheduling capability when diagnosing upstream throughput on SCDMA channels. A modem reporting 16 can use up to 16 times its MSC value in active codes.
