represented by this row of the table. If the zone has not been successfully loaded within the memory of this name server, the value of this variable is zero.
What is dnsServZoneSerial?
The zone's SOA serial number as currently loaded on this server, which you can compare against the master's serial to check whether a secondary is up to date; it reads as zero if the zone has never loaded successfully.
