What is dnsServOptCounterSelfAuthNoDataResps?

This counter measures the number of DNS queries from local resolvers that the DNS server answered with an authoritative response indicating no data exists for the requested record (empty answer). DNS administrators monitor this metric to understand query patterns and diagnose why certain DNS records are returning no-data responses. A sudden increase may indicate misconfigured zone files or legitimate DNS records being deleted.
