Description: This variable is used to enable or disable the sending of new violation traps designating when a packet with a disallowed MAC address is received on a locked port. The configuration will be done on all ports. This is write-only value. It always returns 'disable' on request
What is agentGlobalPortSecurityViolationTrapMode?
This value enables or disables violation trap notifications across all ports at once; the description notes it is write-only and always returns 'disable' on a GET regardless of the actual configured state. Admins use it to turn on violation alerting switch-wide in a single operation rather than configuring each port individually. Setting this to enable(1) turns on violation traps for every port on the switch, though subsequent GETs of this object will still report disable per its write-only design.
