OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10895.5000.2.6132.1.1.19.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Admin-mode of the Outbound Telnet.

What is agentOutboundTelnetAdminMode?

This read-write INTEGER enumeration (enable(1) or disable(2)), defaulting to enable, controls whether the device's Outbound Telnet feature is administratively turned on, allowing the device to initiate Telnet sessions out to other systems. An administrator would disable this in a hardened environment to prevent the device from being used to originate outbound Telnet connections, which is relevant to both operational use cases and to closing off a potential unencrypted-protocol security exposure. For example, setting this object to disable(2) would stop the device from being able to open any outbound Telnet sessions, regardless of other outbound Telnet settings like session limits or timeout.
