This read-create RowStatus governs creation, activation, and deletion of a Remote MEP table entry; writable columns cannot be changed once the row is active, and all columns must have valid values before activation. Admins use it to provision a new remote MEP definition by setting related columns first, then activating the row with createAndGo or active. For instance, after setting the ifIndex and MAC address for a new remote MEP entry, the admin sets this object to active(1) to bring it into service.
