Description: Enables or Disables the ICMP Fragment Denial of Service protection feature.
What is agentSwitchDenialOfServiceICMPFragMode?
This object enables or disables the ICMP Fragment denial-of-service protection feature, which guards against attacks using fragmented ICMP packets to evade inspection or overload a target. An admin enables this to have the switch drop crafted fragmented ICMP traffic. For example, setting this to enable(1) causes the switch to filter out fragmented ICMP packets matching the malicious pattern this feature targets.
