Description: Enables or Disables the First Fragment Denial of Service protection feature.
What is agentSwitchDenialOfServiceFirstFragMode?
This object enables or disables the First Fragment denial-of-service protection feature, which works together with agentSwitchDenialOfServiceTCPHdrSize to reject the first fragment of a TCP packet if its header is smaller than the configured minimum. An admin enables this to block a known attack technique that uses undersized first-fragment TCP headers to evade inspection or crash targets. For example, enabling this feature causes the switch to drop a fragmented TCP packet whose first-fragment header is shorter than the configured minimum size.
