What is ringEventResume?

This reports whether the system is configured to wake from suspend when a modem ring is detected on a serial port or a PC Card signals a wakeup event. An admin checks this to confirm remote-wake-on-ring behavior is enabled as expected for a dial-up or fax modem setup.
